TeamMentor 3.0 Architecture

The architecture for TeamMentor 3.0 looks something like this:

TM 3.0 Arch

Right now the completion status is something like this:

TM 3.0 Arch Status
The parts that are pretty much done are green. The parts that need more attention are yellow. The parts that aren’t really there yet are red.

Basically, what’s left is UI design and improving Authentication/Authorization. LDAP integration should be pretty easy in .NET. The UI designs are something that needs continous tweaking, especially as new features are added. Authentication and authorization have to be improved to accomodate an “editor” user role and support for groups.

Support for groups is going to be important later on to facilitate bulk user management and, more importantly, to be able to assign custom libraries to developer teams.
