Another way to learn jQuery : Using jsfiddle.net

I was trying to use some jQuery code to interact with the browser automation test. I must admit that I don’t have a lot of experience with jQuery (even when  I know some basic features), so I started learning it step by step.

I believe that a good approach to learn a new technology is indeed reading a good book but also starting to using it. I found  jsfiddle.net, which is a Web site that allows you to write html code and then be able to manipulate it via scripts. The UI is very friendly and it is easy to use. The below screen shows my first steps dealing with jQuery and elements identified by a specific css class:

jsfiddle.net

At the time of running it (by clicking in the close text, the jQuery code is executed)

alert

It is really simple and useful by the way :).
